Teen Daze’s newest track is the epitome of dream-pop. I’ve tried listening to this track all the way through without losing myself entirely in the music and I just can’t. And I only realize this when my trance is broken by the sounds of another song coming on. It’s a soft but bubbly soundscape that brings tons of good energy and an overall blissful aura. I don’t quite know how else to describe it. It’s something quite special, and absolutely beautiful. And just when you thought you were enjoying yourself enough, the three-and-a-half minute mark hits, and the smile thats clearly on your face already gets a whole lot bigger.
As a bonus, here’s a remix Teen Daze did of one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite indie bands, Local Natives. ‘Wide Eyes’ was already a song that made me feel so much better when I needed a bit of boost. And the remix isn’t all that different from the original. Just a few beats faster, some added synths and simple beat underneath it all. This isn’t a new mix, but it’s a damn good one, worth mentioning. So enjoy this added bonus and keep an eye out for Teen Daze’s upcoming album All Of Us, Together.
